Documentos referentes às investigações da morte do filho mais velho de Canto da Maya e de Matilde Canto da Maya (1887/1960), Júlio António do Canto de Faria e Maya (1920/1940). Este morre muito jovem vítima de um naufrágio a norte do Cabo Espichel. O corpo nunca foi recuperado. Os documentos descrevem com algum pormenor o sucedido.
